Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At OneMatch, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using OneMatch, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our matching service:

• • Profile details you provide, such as your name, date and time of birth, gender, preferences, and interests
• • Photos, an optional verification selfie, and intro video or voice recordings you add to your profile
• • Contact information, including email address and phone number
• • Sign-in details: your phone number (verified by a one-time code sent over WhatsApp) or your Google account name and email
• • Your city and location coordinates, only if you choose to fill them in from your device location, used to find matches near you
• • Messages, images, and voice notes exchanged in chat rooms with your match
• • Payment information processed through our payment partners (Google Play in the Android app, Razorpay on the website); we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves
• • A device push-notification token, so we can tell you about new matches and messages
• • Basic usage data, such as when you join a room or interact with the app

To compare landing pages, we store a random browser identifier in local storage so returning visits see the same version. We record the page version, visits, active viewing time, scroll depth, categories of button and link clicks, device category, referral domain or campaign source, and whether a waitlist submission succeeds. These analytics do not include form contents, names, contact details, full referral URLs, or IP addresses. Successful waitlist entries also record their landing page version. Only authorized administrators can view the analytics reports. Landing-page analytics are skipped when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Clearing site storage resets your browser's page assignment. These choices do not change any separate Google Analytics settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• • Curate and facilitate matches using our AI matching process
• • Enable communication between you and your match
• • Process payments and confirm access to the service
• • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
• • Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the platform

3. How We Store Your Information

Your data, including profile information and chat messages, is stored securely using Google Firebase. We rely on Firebase's infrastructure and access controls to help protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share information as follows:

• • Your profile is shared with the match curated for you, and only with that match
• • Payment details are shared with Google Play or Razorpay solely to process your transaction
• • Service providers that run OneMatch for us: Google Firebase (accounts, database, notifications), Cloudinary (photo, video and audio hosting), and Meta's WhatsApp Business platform (sign-in codes and match alerts)
• • We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of OneMatch and its users

5. Chat & Communication Data

Messages, images, and voice notes sent within a chat room are visible only to the two members of that room. Our team may access chat rooms for moderation, safety, and support purposes, such as investigating reported abuse or resolving disputes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account at any time from the OneMatch app (menu → Delete account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page, which also lists what is deleted, what is kept, and for how long.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• • Access and review the personal information we hold about you
• • Request correction of inaccurate information
• • Request deletion of your account and data
• • Opt out of non-essential communications from us

8. Children's Privacy

OneMatch is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our service evolves. Continued use of OneMatch after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
